Should you need to cancel your helicopter charter, it's essential you let us know as soon as possible. Each operator will have its own terms and conditions, and typically, there is a cancellation policy in place that dictates any associated fees or penalties based on the timing of the cancellation. Vertical acts on your behalf with the operator, so we can help increase flexibility or options available to you in case of unforeseen changes, including negotiating refunds or credit. To ensure a smooth process and minimize potential costs, it's advisable to notify us as soon as possible if you foresee the need for cancellation, as early notice allows the operator the opportunity to potentially rebook the helicopter. Ordinarily, a full refund can be arranged 5+ days prior to flight, and within 72 hours, a 50% - 75% refund can normally be expected. Whilst some companies permit refunds inside of 24 hours, this is exceptionally rare as it makes it very difficult for the operator to rebook the helicopter, so let us know as soon as you can. We immediately prioritise you, regardless of whether we have bigger requests for helicopters from other clients, and will partner you with a new operator with a helicopter of equal or greater quality. Where the cost is different, Vertical will refund you the difference if it's less. Where it's more, Vertical will cover the difference in price ourselves.
